About Peoria Unified KidZone – Winter Break EdCamp

EdCamp is Peoria Unified School District's full-day KidZone program for days when school is not in session, including fall break, winter break and spring break. It is open to Peoria Unified students aged 5 and up in kindergarten through 8th grade. Care runs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and students take part in hands-on activities, group games, challenges and enrichment. The 2026-27 KidZone packet lists winter break EdCamp days on Dec. 18, 21-23 and 28-31, 2026. The program is closed on Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. EdCamp is held at Desert Valley Elementary, where the KidZone office is, and the registration packet also names Frontier Elementary (21258 N. 81st Ave., Peoria). EdCamp is booked separately from before- and after-school KidZone, and the district warns that it can fill up. The 2026-27 fees page lists EdCamp at $47 a day, or $39.95 a day with the sibling discount, plus a one-time school-year registration fee.
