About Avondale Rec Camps – Mountain View Community Center

Avondale Rec Camps give kids a safe, fun and action-packed experience during every school break of the year, all held at the renovated Mountain View Community Center. The city describes the camps as days of adventure, creativity and learning. Camps run weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for ages 6 to 14 and can be booked as a full session or as single days. The Winter Rec Camp runs 21 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 ($140 for the full session or $31 per day); the Fall Rec Camp runs 5-9 October 2026 ($120 or $31 per day) and the Thanksgiving Rec Camp 23-25 November 2026 ($72 or $31 per day). Registration opened 1 August for residents, with non-resident registration opening about a week before each camp.
