Apache Junction Parks and Recreation runs intersession camps at the Multi-Generational Center whenever school is out, for children ages 6 to 12 of all abilities. Days are filled with games, crafts, recreation activities, special events, outdoor play and the chance to make new friends. Each week has a themed morning session (8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and a themed afternoon session (12:30 to 5 p.m.) – for winter break 2026, Elf Camp and Reindeer Games in week one and Camp Cocoa and Midnight Madness in week two – and families who book both get a $25 discount.
