About City of Scottsdale Junior Lifeguard Program

The City of Scottsdale's Junior Lifeguard program is a summer aquatics course for teens ages 13-15 run by the city's aquatics division. Participants attend weekly instructional classes covering accident prevention, fitness, emergency response, leadership and communication, and complete volunteer hours at the pool. It is offered at Cactus, Chaparral, Eldorado and McDowell Mountain Ranch aquatic centers.
