About Deer Valley Unified Community Education – Winter Break Camp

Deer Valley Unified School District's Community Education department runs DHS-licensed Break Camps for DVUSD students in pre-K through 8th grade during fall, winter, spring and summer breaks. The full-day camps run from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and include sports, arts and crafts, literacy activities, and indoor and outdoor games. The district's 2026-27 calendar puts winter break on Dec. 21-31, 2026 and Jan. 1, 2027, with Jan. 4 a no-school staff development day. The Community Education office is at the east end of the Copper Creek Elementary campus in Glendale. For the October 2026 fall break, K-8 camp ran at Copper Creek Elementary and Mirage Elementary, with a separate preschool camp at Copper Creek. Registration is through the district's Arux portal, and families not already enrolled in a Community Education program pay a $25 registration fee.
