About Gilbert Kidz Kamp – Freestone Recreation Center

Kidz Kamp is the Town of Gilbert Parks and Recreation day camp at Freestone Recreation Center, run during school breaks for children ages 5 to 12. Each week has a theme – Ice Explorers and Winter Olympics for winter break 2026, Little Western Round Up and Autumn Mystery for fall break – and offers a variety of physical activities, games, crafts, music and science projects, including climbing the centre's rock wall. Camp runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; campers bring a named water bottle, two snacks and a lunch each day, and close-toed laced shoes are required.
