About Desert Botanical Garden Desert Discovery Camps

Desert Discovery Camps run across the Desert Botanical Garden's 140 acres in Papago Park, mixing science, outdoor skills, nature-inspired art and plenty of unstructured nature play. Each week has its own theme and every camp includes hands-on activities, guest speakers and time exploring the Garden trails. Past partners bringing programming and animals have included Arizona Game and Fish, the Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary and Arizona State Parks.
