About Houston’s Horseback Riding Summer Horse Camp

Houston's Horseback Riding runs a morning horse camp on the far east side of Tucson where each rider is assigned their own horse for the week. Campers learn horsemanship from the ground up – groundwork, tack, grooming and equine health – and the day includes one to two hours of riding instruction plus a short public speaking slot where riders share what they have learned about horse anatomy, saddle parts or how horses communicate. The fee includes daily snacks and a t-shirt.
